Financial questions that need an answer

Can someone tell my why you cannot deposit ROLLED coins through the bank teller drive-thru window? If they are rolled what is the problem? When you go in, they are going to deposit them just like they would at the window. I thought maybe they had to count them and that is why but they didn’t. They just took the rolls along with the checks and cash I was depositing and gave me a receipt.

And before anyone asks, no, it was in the little tube you send up through the tunnel I attempted to use. It was the actual, primary window with the large metal tray that slides out.
