Financial questions that need an answer

some problems, like the stairway was wet and was left wet for two days, now it smells! My townhome smells!! like old water! The apts did bring in some experts to take the water out of the carpet, they just fanned the carpet for 24hrs, and place a dehumidifier for 24hrs. The maintanance guy place in my faucet knobs in wrong, he place them on reversed, so he thought he had closed them but instead he opened them all they way, so he turned the water back on and took off for lunch I came back 2 or three hours later and my upstairs and downstairs was flooded completely, I dont have renters insurance what can I do?
