Financial questions that need an answer

I went to an apartment complex at the beginning of May and filled out an application for one of their one bedroom apartments. I am scheduled to move there and sign the lease in one week. Now, one of the better one bedroom floorplans is available. Would an apartment complex generally allow someone to switch floorplans at this point or would the mortal have to stick with the floorplan that they listed on the application? Either way, I’ll still be renting there.
