Open Question: My apartment lease has an obvious loophole. How do I properly use it to get out my lease early?
Let’s just say these apartments aren’t for me and a new one is acquirable July 1, so I want June to be my last month here.
At the top of the lease, it boldly says “These lease not valid if filled out after Jan 1st 2008.”
What is the proper way to use this to end my lease without them harmful my credit report? It’s in black and white, but is this something I can handle myself, or do I need a lawyer? Thanks.
Oops, “This lease”
Not “These lease” LOL
