Financial questions that need an answer

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help me out. I recently moved to California from Nihon to work at a travel agency. I am covered by Aetna Open Access Plan. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease about 12 years ago and my specialist place me on a rigorous Remicade infusion plan because my disease was so severe. I was under the impression that Aetna would cover the Remicade treatments here but today I found out that I would be excluded due to the pre-existing condition clause. I have seen a few IBS/Gastroenterologist specialists in my area…they were the ones who told me I would not be covered (Aetna does not know about my condition). I am in need of Remicade as it has been the only drug on the market that has effectively had any impact on my health. Any advice for me? I would appreciate your help so much! Thank you.
